Jag vill vandra lite i vintern i Nackareservatet. Jag har hittat en trevlig slinga på 10km mellan Hellasgården och Älta. Preparation: I don’t know the experience levels of everyone who will join, so I’m making this post to make sure everyone is reasonably prepared. Weather: in the days coming up to the hike, top temps will hover around 0 degrees, so it’s very likely that it will be slippery. Take good shoes with you, hiking poles if you have them. There may be some snow falling, so make sure you have a waterproof layer with you. Layers are generally a good idea, same for good gloves. Route: The route is just under 10Ks, I think our average speed will be around 3-4km, so expect around 3,5 hours of walking. I want to avoid the snow if possible and I’m a morning person 🙃, so I want to start walking from busstop Kolarängen at 9:20. There’s a bus that stops there at 9:16, we can travel together 8:45 from Gullmarsplan on the spårvägn towards Sickla. There’s isn’t really a specific resting place along the route, so we’ll just stop for snacks or lunch when we feel like it 🙂 Food: Bring at least a liter of water, preferably 1,5 or 2. Some tea or coffee in a thermos is a great warmer up. I baked a cake I’ll bring but bring your own snacks and lunch. Always good to have a little more than you think you need, even though the terrain isn’t very hilly, you’ll be burning through quite some calories. I’m looking forward to seeing you all and crush some Ks!
